This video discusses etf position trading chart time frames and the benefits for using a position chart and a timing chart for decreasing profit giveback and adding to the position. I have also discussed an options protection trade, called an options collar, which will be used for managing profit giveback to a support or resistance price.
In this trading video I am focused on discussing: (1) Position trading, especially for an ETF portfolio – and comparing a 60 minute chart to a renko chart ‘matched’ to it (2) Adding the USO ETF to the portfolio – and discussing trades for the last month (3) Our renko brick size and price envelope percent parameters – and how I have been using a ‘visual’ approach to select these.
I have continued the trading video discussing renko base trade setups on the emini russell, now talking about position trading the IWM Russell 2000 ETF. Of specific note is how our trading method can use the same trade setups, regardless of the underlying, time frame, or chart types.
